About Us
Oak Knoll Young Explorers is a discovery place for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children to learn through exploration and play.
Our program is sensory-focused activities and STEAM exploration to keep children engaged, curious and joyful!
We welcome you to explore our space full of life, love, and possibility!
Program Activities
Age-appropriate activities for explorative play may include sensory bins with various textures, simple puzzles, stacking blocks, natural materials for building, and water play with cups and funnels.
Maker-spaces
Providing materials to encourage exploration in creativity.
Arts Activities
Combining different materials to inspire curiosity.
Sensory Play
Hands-on tools for children to explore through their senses.
Outdoor Play
Exposure to the outdoors and keeping the kids active.
Preschool Curriculum
We use the Experience Curriculum with weekly themed lesson plans that support them to be kinder-ready.
Weekly Themes
Weekly lesson plans develop research-based skills in fine & gross motor skills, language & literacy, math & reasoning, social studies, and creative arts
Forest Friends
Each theme explores a character trait designed to support children in social and emotional development.
Games & Hand-on Activities
Creating a fun learning environment by incorporating games, arts & crafts, and hands-on activities.
Follow on the App
We use the BrightWheel app for parents to track the curriculum, receive updates of their kiddo throughout the day, communicate with the teacher, and for invoicing and billing.
